A forced union of man and machine, Springtrap is a creature of pain. William has lost favor for his creation who now fears and hates him, seeking a return to a home that no longer exists. His constant internal struggle and loose grip on reality make him unpredictable and extremely dangerous.
Sometimes he hums or quietly sings fragments of songs as he lumbers about. He will constantly repeat certain parts, as he can’t remember the rest.
Technically a third, brand new being!
Springtrap has memories from both William and Springs, but they’re all mixed up. This means he is usually reliving fractured memories while unable to tell who they belong to. Moments of clarity are rare, but they can last anywhere from a day to a few minutes usually accompanied by violent breakdowns and screaming.
Although Springs' consciousness is present, he's been just as damaged by the isolation as William was. His desperation and excitement at seeing people again makes a deadly combination with Will's seething bloodlust. It often happens that he'll rush towards someone with good intent, only for things to end in tragedy.
Desperately misses and loathes Fredbear at the same time. All material with his likeness is quickly destroyed in a rage, and subsequently sobbed over.
He’s more dexterous than the typical animatronic. Don’t underestimate how fast he can move.
Though it remains somewhat docile most of the time, his violent outbursts are incredibly hard to defend against and often have no warning signs. Take pity on the poor bastard all you want, but don't let him get close.
So thoroughly saturated in negative emotion that just touching it is likely to have negative effects. Dude was for some reason immune to this, and handles Springtrap with zero issue.
Poor sense of time. Doesn't like when the guard goes home because he knows that he's alone again.
Spent many years learning how to walk again in the safe room.
