Freddy has a voice smooth as butter and a decent head on his shoulders, preferring to hang back and let his band do as they please. Although he's often the one having to clean up the aftermath, Freddy is fiercely protective and would do anything for them.
Personality wise, Freddy is quite similar to his original 1983 incarnation with small adjustments such as a negative opinion of Foxy instead of welcoming him to the band, a heightened fondness of Bonnie, and the controversial removal of an implied romance with Chica. Freddy was also made to be the friendly but often exasperated owner of the pizzeria as opposed to simply being a member of the band.
A bear that enjoys the finer things. Freddy can often be found reading magazines, enjoying classical music, and eating all of the shredded chicken. He doesn’t like pizza much and often tries to convince employees to bring him food from outside, with a particular taste for hamburgers and lukewarm beer.
Freddy loves giving hugs, but he’s off limits to guests after an incident where the suit started leaking as a result of being squeezed. Legally it was never confirmed to be blood, but everyone knows what it was.
Has a special fondness for Bonnie even beyond what was programmed, and turns to him first when it comes to advice and companionship. He is well aware of Bonnie’s tendency for violence and spite, but finds it endearing.
He takes holidays very seriously and dresses up for every single one. Freddy starts worrying about Halloween decorations in September.
Freddy isn’t thrilled it’s always his spare suits filled with viscera, but oh well. You can’t win them all can you?
Accidentally drank cleaning supplies more times than he would like to admit.
When you wake up, just remember: Friends are forever.
